Strategic Account Management: In this position, you will be responsible for expanding the scope of our marketing research business with our key clients. Your activities will include direct contact with clients and potential clients, as well as the preparation of project proposals. This position is responsible for strategically managing assigned accounts with the objective of driving sales and business growth for TVG and PDI (our parent company). You will have the opportunity to continue to grow professionally through interaction with our highly skilled team of healthcare marketing researchers.
The ideal candidate will be degreed with 3+ years of solutions selling experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical marketing research arena or other industry in market research. Consideration may also be given to candidates who have less sales experience but can demonstrate sales ability and have experience designing, executing and analyzing primary research studies. Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations is a necessity. Team leadership abilities and collaboration skills are essential as are PC skills and a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A willingness to travel (40-50%) is important.
