DRESHER, PA – March 11, 2008 — TVG Marketing Research & Consulting, an industry leader in primary marketing research, training and consulting services has introduced an enhanced data collection tool, Chart CaptureSMResearch. Physicians make prescribing decisions one patient at a time. Traditional marketing research asks physicians to recall their last 10 patients or prescribing over the last 30 days. Chart CaptureSM Research taps into unbiased physician behavior at the individual patient level. Asking physicians to review a patient chart will often trigger recall of the actual reasons behind their therapy decisions.
The power of this research is in its ability to correlate physician attitudes, patient characteristics, clinical outcomes, and the impact of product attributes on the decision-making process. It offers the opportunity to:
Explore treatment algorithms and decision criteria
Create confidence around predictions of future behavior based on specific patient characteristics and clinical outcomes., not general perceptions
Uncover key patient types physicians identify as the most appropriate for product trial and usage
Chart CaptureSM with Patient Data Cube
Chart CaptureSM Research is being used successfully in both qualitative and quantitative research. Quantitative studies include an easy-to-use simulator, the Patient Data Cube, which enables the running of “what-if” scenarios going forward, based on actual physician behavior.
