The TVG Senior Leadership Team

Peter Tilles, President
Peter offers more than 20 years of experience in marketing, strategy, sales and business development. His expertise is in harnessing a company’s resources to create new and innovative products and greater levels of customer service. He is co-founder and currently serves on the board of directors of MedAvante, Inc., a pharmaceutical R&D services company conducting centralized assessments for clinical trials. He is also co-founder of RecordMyCalls.com, an internet-based consumer protection/ telecommunications company focused on providing virtual digital call recording capabilities. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Peter spent several years with Citigroup and UBS, where he led or co-led the development of online banking and brokerage businesses as well as multiple strategic planning initiatives. Most recently, he was a consultant with The Bankcorp Bank, focusing on a broad-range of strategic planning, product development and management areas. Mr. Tilles is Board President of The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of Central & Southern New Jersey.

Karen Fender, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Marketing Research Excellence
A pharmaceutical industry professional for more than 20 years, Karen is the leader of TVG’s Marketing Research practice. With the combined experience of a marketing researcher, product manager and strategic marketing consultant, she offers a broad perspective and hands-on knowledge to our clients and their business issues. She built her career in both emerging and Fortune 500 companies, including assignments in product management for both new and in-line products for AstraZeneca and Wyeth.

Scott Lauder, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Marketing Training & Consulting
Dr. Lauder offers a unique combination of marketing, marketing research, and training experience built on over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He leads the TVG team which develops, manages and conducts the TVG Seminar Series of training programs for pharmaceutical marketers, as well as our custom seminars and consulting workshops. He also provides rich experience in both qualitative and quantitative marketing research through his service with both custom marketing research firms and several pharmaceutical manufacturers including Abbott Laboratories and G.D. Searle and Company.
